Week of Oct 6th,
This week we will starting to learn more about apples as we get ready to go to the Applebarn.  Please make sure that you send in our field trip notice and money for this event.
This week is Fire Drill time.  We will be discussing fire drills and having one during the week.  This is a great opportunity for you to discuss fire meeting places and how to deal with fires at home.
In Math we are working on patterns. Have them create and make patterns at home.
We are working on colour patterns.
Also, please give your students opportunities to cut at home.  Have them make cards, or do crafts even if this is not what they tend to love.  Cutting practice is necessary.
