We are a Kindergarten class with 19 children, with 9 girls and 10boys. We are excited to have our Grade 7 students as our buddies.
Home Reading -- Our Home Reading program, is being worked on. More info to come.
Parent Volunteers -- Each month a new schedule of volunteers is handed out. If you are able to help out in the classroom, please let me know which days you are available. Some of this time is working on our class scrapbooks, some is on creating booklets for the students, or even working on art projects or with small groups on rhymes. Your help and time is much appreciated!!
Family Reading Thursday-- Each thursday morning, we will have a 10 min Family Reading time, when a parent or grandparent, could come in to read with your child. The children will have book bags to read through and then may choose a different book. If you are unable to attend, not to worry, we will have older students coming in to read with those who do not have an adult. This is a time for the kindergarten children to shine and show what they have been learning.(This will start the week of Oct 22).
